After I import a text file, some footnotes disappear (not all of them).
InDesign changed them in ^n or ^a.
A solution ?
Can you confirm the exact version of your software and operating system.
Can you describe how the footnotes were originally created, is there a difference between the ones appearing and the ones that do not?
InDesign 2019, 14.0.3 x64 - using it in university, on PC, Windows 10.
I created this footnotes few years ago, using Word, ctrl+alt+B.
I do not see any difference between footnotes, this is why my head is cracking !
In fact, note calls are becoming ^n and ^a.
In fact, I changed the Word document version (docx to doc), and it worked...
