The files from one of our designers always have the Document Title populated in the File Information and she says she is not entering it herself. Is there a way to stop it from auto populating the file name in the Document Title? The INDD file name is carrying over into the PDFs she is creating. Also this is problematic in the DAM we are using.
Hi Jeane,
there is an option in the PDF Export settings. It's on by default and is using the Document Title if you are doing a PDF/X-4 kind of file. You can change that to the InDesign file's name if you do a custom PDF Export preset.

There are no startup scripts for our team that I am aware of and this is only impacting one out of 30 designers so it must be specific to her. She has changed her PDF Export settings and that seems to have corrected the issue for PDFs. I will also ask her about the template as that could come into play here.
Thank you!
