Does anyone know if InDesign supports simultaneous working on the cloud?

Hello,
We have two designers and at the moment we're working from home away from the office. Does anyone know if InDesign supports working on the same project simultaneously. At the moment I'm using the synced file option but it does mean my colleague then has to download, make changes and reupload. Is there an easier way to do this?

Many thanks

Definitely does not support that. You need to not only sychronise, but carefully coordinate your work. You may already have looked at this, but sometimes subdividing a larger work can help. (By chapter or even page).

You can certainly collaborate this way but you need to be careful. Only one person at a time can open an INDD file and the lock files don't sync which means you'll have conflicts.

Either break it up or...if one of you is just editing content, use InCopy.

I haven't heard of InCopy. Is this a cloud-based app?

Also, if there is good communication, there would be no need to download and upload. Just copy the project and assets into your Creative Cloud Files folder and invite your colleague to share the project folder. When the folder is shared its contents get sync’d to both local CCF folders.

To share a folder, open your Creative Cloud web page (click the cloud icon in your CC app), navigate to the sync’d folder on the web page and click the share button.
