Is it possible to work with the same InDesign document in both InDesign CC 2017 12.1.0.56 and InDesign CC 2017 15.1?

Document created on a lower version can be opened on a higher version, but not vice versa. For ex CC2017 document can be opened on CC2020 Bbut not the other way around. If you want it to work on both version then export and use IDML file

In my case it's about two different versions in CC2017 but I guess I'll have to test and maybe degrade if it doesn't work.

 

I don't even know what IDML is so I have to study that. 😉
