Edit original doesn't update link status in ID 15.1.1

I use the "edit original" feature all the time to open placed images with Photoshop or Illustrator. Up until the 15.1.1 update, when I saved and closed the linked image, it would automatically update in the links panel and the preview would refresh in my document. Now it doesn't. It's a minor (but kind of annoying) thing to click the "refresh link" button, but that was one of the nifty benefits of using "edit original."

Is this a small bug that creeped into the latest release? Anyone else having this issue?

No problems for me with the 15.1.1 update. Tell us more about your setup: Please tell us what operating system (exactly) you're running. Please tell us (exactly) what InDesign version you're using. Does this just happen with one file or with more than one file?

And the old "restart your computer" fixed the problem! FWIW, I'm runing Mac Catalina 10.15.5 and ID 15.1.1, and the problem was happening was with multiple files. But I restarted, created a new document, and everything works like it should. Thanks for letting me know it was me, not the update!
