"Even More Classical Special Effects (F/X) Made Easy in Adobe Illustrator"

PART IV:
In October, Cornelius presented Classical Special Effects (F/X) in Adobe Illustrator Made Easy and it was so well received that taught more in November and April. In the most recent meeting, we learned how to put images into text, to break up the text so individual letters could be altered, and different images could be placed in each letter. Cornelius is taking his time to show each technique and this provides a great opportunity to learn new tips and tricks about efficiency in Illustrator. There are a dozen more examples he will show in Part 4, so join us for even more Illustrator magic. Recordings of Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3 are online, see https://austinadobeusergroup.com.
In this training, you will learn how to create classical Special Effects in a few steps using:
  • Layer (Clipping) Masks
  • Opacity Masks
  • Graphic Styles
  • Other Techniques

You will also learn how to convert simple shapes to a more complex 2D shape and then convert that shape to a 3D object.
