Existing Indesign file asks me to close right after I open it

Hi all! Right after I open my Indesign file to continue my work, it pops up the sign asking if I want to save the file before closing it. I can't press anything except clicking yes or no, and the file closes. My file' size is 75KB. Please let me know what I can do to solve the issue. Thank you.

Save the file as IDML and open that.

Saving as IDML can be done without opening the file if you use a script.

Which version of InDesign and OS?

How much RAM do you have?

It's CC 2020. My laptop is Windows 10, with 4GB RAM.

Recommendation is 16GB of RAM. That said, does this happen with any other files?

I just noticed that you said the file was 75KB. Something is wrong there. Even an empty file is going to be closer to one megabyte.

Sorry it's 75000KB, missing the 0s. Anyway I have tried open other files and indesign app itself but they all crash. After I tried uninstall and reinstall, it works.
