Barb Binder had some great suggestions in this post: https://community.adobe.com/t5/indesign/creating-selection-pdf/td-p/9912059

Automatication also has some plugins that may assist - LayoutZone and SelectiontoPDF: https://www.automatication.com/

Hi @simonsmb ,

You have a few options.

  1. You can create 6 pages in Indesign and place the "zoned" content on each page and export to PDF.
  2. Create your 6 page document. Place your content. Fron the Pages Panel, uncheck Allow Document Pages to Shuffle. Pick up the Page tool and move pages, change orientation, etc. NB: Movement is limited.
  3. Take your content into Illustrator. Create 6 artboards, Manipulate them as you need them, save as PDF. You can move artboards anywhere you'd like.
  4. Create 6 pages of the exact same large artwork page in Indesign. Export to PDF. Open in Acrobat. Using the crop tool, you can crop individual pages as you need them.

If the answer wasn't in my post, perhaps it might be on my blog at colecandoo!
