My eyedropper tool in InDesign picks up colors just fine, but when the color is placed within a frame, the frame disappears completely. I can't make a simple moodboard without this happening. How could I fix it or What might be causing the issue?

I've used this feature succussfully in the past, but I'm not sure what changed.

Hi @Shute4Success:

My eyedropper tool in InDesign picks up colors just fine, but when the color is placed within a frame, the frame disappears completely.

I'm not sure what this means. Are you sampling a color from the frame, or are you applying a sampled color to the frame? A before/after screen shot will help us help you. Also let us know which version of InDesign and which OS you are using.

FWIW, double-clicking on the eyedropper in the toolbox will allow you to choose what it does and does not sample.
