Hello,
I have saved many words in my find/replace database in InDesign. I was wondering if there is a File somewhere located which I could backup and save somewhere to be sure to have a backup of all these words in case the computer breaks down or something else.
Thank you
Best regards
Felix Heintz

Hi Felix,
your custom find/replace items are stored as xml files in the preferences folder of your InDesign
And of course you can backup the files.
On my Windows 10 machine with my German InDesign 2020 I can see them all in this folder:
[UserName] > AppData > Roaming > Adobe > InDesign > Version 15.0 > de_DE > Find-Change Queries
There are four folders inside for Glyph, GREP, Object and Text.
