Hi,

We have faced font clash issue in InDesign. We are used "Stempel Garamond" Type1 font for paging. For some of the words we have applied Small Caps in formatting and no issues in application file. But the problem was in output PDF (refer error PDF screenshot), All the small caps fonts were changed into wrong fonts (it seems fonts clash).

Please suggest me a solution to avoid this type of font issue. Since we are not able to find out this issue in PDF compare also. We have tried to recreate but the same issue was not occured.

Hi there,

Sorry to hear about this trouble. I would request that if you could share a few more details like:

  • OS and version of InDesign
  • Application in which you are viewing the PDF?
  • Is the issue related to a specific document? If yes, could you please share the document with us? You can upload it to the Creative Cloud (https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/help/share.html) and share the download link.
  • Does changing the font helps resolving the issue?

Regards,

Srishti
