Fonts not activated on Indesign

Hi there! I'm trying to activate a font from the Adobe website on Indesign. For some bizzare reason, it won't appear there, despite deactivating and reactivating it, closing down all my adobe programs and computer. Does anyone know of another way to activate them? I'm using a mac.
