found an overprint bug on the latest version

i designed a sign with a 2 colors word that every second letter has the same color. made a shadow to the whole word. and on print the shadow  came up as overprint only on a certain color out of two.
did anyone noticed the same problem? since i just made a shadow effect why it happend? it never happend before. on prints with the same color the shadow effect didnt made an overprint.
