German hyphenation

Since InDesign was updated to 2021 German hyphenation seems to be worse. When typesetting books I now see hyphenation mistakes I never had before.

Is that sth you can fix?

Hi Ekke,

are you using the German version of InDesign?

Could you show a sample where the hyphenation differs?

One in the version before, one with InDesign 2021.

Or better: Could you make two sample documents available for download using Dropbox or a similar service?

thanks for your reply. Yes, it's the German version I use. Unfortunately I cannot compare the versions as you mentioned it because ID2020 is already deinstalled.

So I did not detect a difference in hyphenation, just a lack of hyphenation quality as I haven't seen before. I thought that maybe the hyphenation files in 2021 version are somehow different.

Steht das Dokument vllt. auf einem alten Wörterbuch, Proximity oder Hunspell, statt auf Duden?
