Is anyone familiar with the plugin ID2Office, and if so does it work well? I've seen some older discussions about converting InDesign documents to Word. Does anyone have any recent experience converting InDesign to Word?

I have used it once, did the free trial, some stuff gets lost in translation. Would not buy it. Rather make it in word, word is way easier to learn versus  indesign.

Try it for free first and see for yourself:

Hi Rebecca,

there is also Wordsflow by EM Software if you are looking for an alternative.

Wordsflow Pro is able to export an InDesign story as Word document, the formatted text and all anchored objects of a threaded number of text frames. Used paragraph style and character style names are maintained. Try it out:
