Help! InDesign 2021 won't launch: ObjectModel.dll

For some bizarre reason, when I tried to launch InDesign today, it immediately came up with an error message:

"The ObjectModel.dll plug-in conflicts with ObjectModel.dll. Try removing one of the the two plug-ins from the Plug-Ins folder and restart."

The problem is that there isn't a file ObjectModel.dll in the Plug-ins folder, the only instance is in the main Adobe folder. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, rebooting in between, but nothing allows it to boot.

I have searched for ObjectModel.dll in Program files and in Windows and apart from the one in the main InDesign folder, there's nothing else.

Help please.

Problem solved. I had to use Revo Uninstaller Pro to remove all the InDesign registry entries and folders and then do a clean install. All sorted.

For future reference, I think the Adobe CC Cleaner would do the same thing.

Thanks, I'll keep your mail on file, I had no idea such a thing
as the Adobe CC Cleaner existed.
