How do I add accents or tildes over letters? For example in the name Cortazar. The first"a" needs a tilde.

You should find this character in the glyphs panel. If you cannot see any a with a tilde, it means that it does not exist in the font you use.

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out. In addition to correct response given by @jmlevy, I'd suggest checking out this help article(https://helpx.adobe.com/il_en/indesign/user-guide.html/il_en/indesign/using/glyphs-special-character...) to know more about Glyphs & special characters.

Hope it helps.

Regards,

Ashutosh
