Hi everyone, hoping to create a master document (operations manual) from a number of individual documents that must remain separate, in other words the master indesign front facing file would be built from linked documents so that it looks seemless...is this possible? Hope I'm explaining it correctly, any tips or advise greatly appreciated.

Create an INDB InDesign Book file: File > New > InDesign Book

Add the erxisting files in the Book Panel.

Export now from the Book Panel Menu, not from the single document.

You can place InDesign documents on an InDesign page the same way you place an image or PDF. If you wanted to change the content of a placed .indd file, it would just be a matter of opening the linked file (Option-double click), editing, and upadating the link.
