Greetings,
I know how to use the gradient tool if you have more than one colour.
I see the gradient feathering tool however I can't seem to be able to control quantitatively when it starts and when the gradient ends.
I need to to be able to have a gradient that goes from 100% of a spot and drops to 50% of the SAME spot.
I have searched too long, now have a headache that caffeine failed to remedy.
I need help! 🙂
Cheers, and thank you from Vancouver!
Antoine
Add a spot color to the Swatches panel.
Highlight the spot color in the Swatches panel list.
In the Swatches panel menu choose New Tint Swatch.
In the New Tint Swatch dialog that appears, type in the percentage you want for the tint.
Both the spot color and it's tint will appear in the list of swatches in the Swatches panel and you can assign them to the gradient.

Barbara! Thank you so much 🙂 I'm learning to design with specialty inks (for work) using silver, clear, gold, white, fluo magenta, fluo yellow, fluo cyan (and more yet secret!). Email at antoine@shaareable.ca or private message me I'd love to print you some of your own business cards all jazzed up if you'd like to design for them.
