Hi, Adobe Team.

I'm seeking your assistance in finding out how to publish an interactive infographic I created in Adobe Animate in Adobe InDesign as a PDF. Is it even possible? I watched a tutorial saying it's possible however, instructions were not given.

I'm hoping for your kind assistance; thanks!

PDF does not support animation. I'm sure someone will tell you there are ways to accomplish it but it require way too much time and effort and most likely fail in any PDF reader beyond Acrobat.

Not sure if it would be worth re-creating in InDesign, but you can always use Publish Online, which is available in InDesign, and allows viewing from any browser, no reader required. Here are some great examples of documents with animation and other interactive elements: http://bit.ly/PubOnCollection

Can Animate export to OAM? If so, it could just be placed into InDesign.

Can you point us to this tutorial?

I suppose it might be possible if you convert the Adobe Animate to a video file.

https://helpx.adobe.com/animate/how-to/export-video-mp4.html

Add movie file to InDesign

https://helpx.adobe.com/indesign/using/movies-sounds.html

You can then publish online
