I am using InDesign to create an interactive PDF.
Thank you for any help. I have a form two checkboxes. On the first checkbox (box_1) I have an action setup to Hide the second checkbox (box_2). This works. The problem is that if box_1 is then unchecked box_2 remains hidden. So in real-world use, if a User accidentally checks box_1, then there is no way to see/check box_2 as it will always remain hidden (other than resetting the form entirely).
Preferred functionality would be: If checked: hide; else: show.
Anyone know how to do this in InDesign?

InDesign-born form interactivity is at best superficial, and it's very easy to produce a dead-end as you describe. For works-in-any-direction-no-mater-what functionality, you'll need to fashion the interactivity in Acrobat using Javascript.
