HTTPS hyperlink reverting to HTTP

I am inserting a hyperlink (https://www.mysuppliernet.com/#/home) into my InDesign CC document. But when I print as a PDF, the hyperlink opens as HTTP... It is dropping the "s" in the "HTTP"; therefore, the link isn't opening to the correct website. The message displayed is: 

ERROR The requested URL could not be retrieved

Never print to PDF from InDesign; to start with, that will not include any links at all. Always use Export.
