Hello – I seem to be running into a common problem here that doesn't have a clear solution. While working on my file, it crashed, and whenever I attempt to recover it, the entire application closes. Before I open the file, the system warns me that the file may be damaged. After it crashes, I get a "Problem Report for Indesign" pop up with the problem details that is long and criptic, and I have no idea how to make sense of it. The problem seems to only be happening with this file, but the latest copy I have of this file that isn't the corrupted one would set me back weeks. Is there anyway to fix this?

Finally, this is why we all need to make daily (or more frequent back-ups). Saving files directly to a service like OneDrive and Dropbop will allow you to recover incremental backups, stored automatically each time you use File > Save.

I was able to access a relatively recent backup. I no longer need help.
