I DON'T SEE IMAGES

I  have a big problem: when I open a document I often don't see images. If I turn from how quality to lowest I see some, but not alwais. If I past fron one document to another, I just see the empty box and not what was inside. I can't understand where is the problem. I use InDesign from several years, I nevere had this problem. Is it a virus? A bug? Pleas help me, I can't work anymore. Sorry if my english is not perfect...

Switch off the Content Aware Fit in preferences, see if it helps.

and try to switch off the "gpu preferences" and see if it helps
