I need assistance with aesthetics on text boxes.

I'm working on a catalogue and pulling resources from existing catalogues for the same client. My issue is that I have these text boxes (pulled from other catalogues) that have, in the simplest way I know how to describe them, a line above them. The line is somehow attached to the text box and extends past the bounds of said text box. I've been trying to figure out for about an hour how to edit (lengthen or shorten) the line, but to no avail. I've looked at 'text frame options', where I discovered the line sits 2mm above the box by 'inset spacing' on the top. I've attached 2 screenshots to give you a better idea. Any help would be awesome.

Thanks 🤙🏼

Looks like the header might have a Paragraph Rule applied. Select the header and choose Paragraph Rules from the Paragraph panel’s flyout menu:

Hi Paul,

could be a graphic line that is anchored to the text in the frame.

Would it go away if you remove the contents of the frame?

The line did disappear when I deleted the content. Rob hit the nail on the head, but for interests sake, what were you going to suggest?

The next thing I would have suggested:

Type one single character. Will the line be there again?
If yes, the line would be caused by formatting:

Rule Above, Rule Below, Paragraph Rules ( or even Paragraph Shading ).

Best,
