Updated to 2019 Indesign and now when i relink PDFs the sizes are all off and it totally messes up my workflow. Turning off "preserve image dimensions when relinking" is not the answer and kinda the opposite of what i want.

I want to:

  1. edit one doc
  2. then make a PDF
  3. and semi-instantly update several other docs by doing so

This has kept me sane for a couple of years so now i'm afraid i'll implode.

Hi,

you may have enabled the new feature Content-Aware Fit in your preferences.

Turn it off before relinking.

FWIW: Content Aware Fit is not enabled by default when installing InDesign CC 2019.

Regards,

Uwe
