In Design stops after 2 seconds freezing in demo touchscreen mode

Hello I recently updated the newest version of InDesign but on starting the programm it freezes after some seconds in the demo mode of the touch screen. New MSI PC with Nvidia Card, good performances

Hi there,

Sorry to hear about your experience. Would you mind sharing the version of the OS? Have you tried resetting preferences? If not, please try doing that.

**Please note that resetting preferences will remove all the custom settings and InDesign will launch with default settings. You can also take a backup of the folders in case you want to. The location is mentioned in the article.

Hi Ashutosh,

OS is Windows 10 v. 19.09, Adobe InDesign is 16.0.1.

As I have a laptop with touchscreen, it seems like Indesign runs automatically in "touchscreen mode" with a short animation. After 2 seconds the anim freeze and no response.

As I tried just once more now I had the opportunity to generate an error report.

Finally, the problem solved by himself... No freezing anymore after genrating the error report.
