Indesign 15.02 crashing. The app is not working.

After updating to the latest version we can no longer work on our files.

- This resent update is by far the worst ever. - The program crashes every 5 minutes or so - and we are not able to export to printready pdf. - Currently we have testet with a catalogue of 20 pages. - Run a minor test with small amount of pages/ spreads optimized for smallest file size. - We have allocated 64GB ram to application - On Ios Catalina - Mac Pro.  - Macbook Pro - and Imac.

The problem is consistent on all devices. With different files.  - Conclusion the app in its current version is not fit for professional use.  - So we are now roling back to last stabel version 14.

15.0.2 is not the last version. Update to 15.1.2.  

 

 Conclusion the app in its current version is not fit for professional use.

That is your opinion… I work in the IT department of a major press group, we have tens of users working with the 15.1.2 version, either on MacBook Pro or iMac running with Catalina and we have not one single problem.

Sorry that what a typo - it is version 15.1.2 we are running.  We have testet  several senarioes. Including, interactive pdfs. Small files and larger cataloges. On - and now it gets interesting - 22 different machines. The issue continues. - Also after clearing pref´s and exporting the files as idlm.  - We are seeing the same issues over and over again in differnt files and with different settings. So no its not just my "opinion" there is testing and emperi behind...

Did you consider a font problem? An access to a network?

As I wrote, I do not encounter any problem with the same configuration (the only difference is that our machines have only 16 or 32 GB RAM).
