InDesign 16.2.1 Shift key not working on macOS Mojave 10.14.6

Hello

The shift key doens't work when moving or resizing an object. Just awfully anoying !

My only other app open is Chrome.

  • Does it work better if you close chrome?

  • When did this start happening? Are there any recent changes made to your system? For example, any antivirus, system updates or web extensions installed recently. 
  • Does resetting InDesign Preferences (https://helpx.adobe.com/in/indesign/user-guide.html/in/indesign/using/setting-preferences.ug.html) help to resolve the issue? 
    Note: Please note that resetting preferences will remove all the custom settings and InDesign will launch with default settings. You can also take a backup of the folders in case you want to. Location is mentioned in the article.

After several reboots, it seems that today it works again...

The os is Mojave 10.14.6 

I had the trouble several times since I updated Indesign to 16.2.1
