InDesign 2020 save dates wrong on macOS Catalina

The saved dates displaying on all my InDesign files are showing wrong in the folder displays.  I'm getting save dates of Mar 19, 2019 instead of today's date.  This is happening to all my InDesign files, both on my desktop & external server.  Is there a setting I am missing?  Doesn't InDesign sync with my laptop's clock?  Illustrator & Photoshop files display the correct save date.

I'd suggest restoring your InDesign preferences to see if that might help.

Set preferences in Adobe InDesign - Adobe Supporthelpx.adobe.com › indesign › using › setting-preferences

Hi there,

Sorry to hear about your experience. Would you mind sharing version of the OS & InDesign?

Please try resetting the InDesign preferences and let us know if it helps. Please follow instructions below to do that:

  • Close all adobe applications
  • Go to Locations:
  • ~/Library/Caches

**Please note that resetting preferences will remove all the custom settings and InDesign will launch with default settings. This way all your old settings will be saved in .old folders and InDesign will recreate new folders with default settings.

You may also try creating a new user account on your machine and try working on app there. See how app is working in that account.

Let us know if it helps. Looking forward to your response.

Regards,

Ashutosh
