Hello all,

I've been reading what everyone has posted about how to fix the CMD +shift problem for scaling images proportionately. However, none of these have helped solve my specific problem, and I don't care to purchase that Webroot Secure program, as I am in college. Plus, Adobe should have a fix for this if we paying this much stinking $.

Any and all help is appreciated!

It is quite common for other applications or browser extension (like Webroot, for example) to interfere with modifier keys like Cmd and Shift keys.

The way to test this is to quit InDesign and reboot your computer. If possible, disable any startup applications (for example, holding down Shift on the Mac when you reboot). Then open InDesign FIRST before any other application and test the problem. If the problem disappears, there is a conflicting application or extension. Then you have to watch closely as you open applications to see which one is the culprit.
