InDesign 2021 won't open files

Hi,

I recently updated to Big Sur and was finally able to update to ID 2021. Although the program comes to the homepage showing all of my projects, it will not open them. I can only work on them using ID 2020. Suggestions?

Sorry for the late reply. The file gets converted but will not open. I have to use 2020. Ideas? thanks.
