InDesign: Cannot open, item is damaged, Error Code 0

I have an Indd file that InDD can't open because it says it is damaged.

I have tried re-starting InDD and deleting the preferences.

I tried running rcovery from the open file. Is there anything else I can do?

Is the file stored on some kind of network server?
If so, try copying it to your local hard drive and open it from there.
