HI - having problems linking to an InCopy file. InDesign crashes every time.
Here's the crash log, any ideas? The InCopy file is coming from an outside editor.
The default interactive shell is now zsh.
To update your account to use zsh, please run `chsh -s /bin/zsh`.

Are you able to open that file in InCopy? Do you have problem with all InCopy files?

Yes. The crash happens when trying to relink to the InCopy file. If I place it, or open in InCopy it's fine. I have tried saving as a new file in InCopy, but when trying to relink the crash still happens.
Just can't relink the updated file from the links panel.
The user is on Windows and we are using InDesign on Mac, but we haven't had this problem before. The editor is also using track changes, which we haven't used before.
any ideas about why this is happening and how to fix would be greatly appreciated

There might be a problem with .indd file. The very first thing I would try is to copy your project (or part of it) to a new .indd document. That sometimes helps as there too many variables to check. Sometimes one link in the .indd project is responsible for such behavior.
