InDesign CC 2018 not recognising installed fonts

I’m working on a PC with Windows 10. I have a copy of InDesign 6 installed and everything is fine with it. I’ve also got InDesign CC 2018 installed but this version DOES NOT recognise my installed fonts. I know this an InDesign forum but I also installed Photoshop CC 2018 and that also DOES NOT recognise my installed fonts. Anyone have the same issue or have a fix.

In the Font drop-down menu, you don't have any of the filters switched on, do you?
