Hi,

having the same problem as this thread two years since it was closed and designated 'fixed': https://community.adobe.com/t5/indesign/indesign-cc-2018-crashing-quot-the-network-connection-was-lo...

Large files being pulled from a network location via SMB 3. 2.1, & 2 are causing InDesign to crash whilst handling them.

I tried to find a more direct way to engage with Adobe support (Website says there's a chat function) but I never found any way to actually reach out to them.

Hoping someone in the forums might know this problem?

Hi Josh,

support chat aside, you could sign in to InDesign Prerelease.

Use the InDesign Prerelease Forum that will be scanned by the developers:

https://www.adobeprerelease.com/
