Hi there,

Sorry to hear about this. Resetting preferences should help here as suggested by Jmlevy.

If it does not help, please follow instructions given on this community post(https://community.adobe.com/t5/indesign/resolve-slow-performance-and-unexpected-behavior-of-indesign/td-p/11487287?page=1) & let us know if it helps.

Regards,

Ashutosh

Does it happen with all fonts? If yes, the first thing to do is to reset preferences. You must relaunch the application while holding down simultaneously on Maj, Ctrl, Alt [Windows], Maj, Ctrl, Alt and Cmd [Mac] until a warning message pops up.

Hi @jmlevy , thanks for your response. I tried to relaunch the app just like you describe. Unfortunately it still crashes, with all fonts.
