InDesign crashes while copy pasting links from Word file

I am designing a book and in the word text there are some text links to websites. When I paste these links into indesign, it closes. I've tried to type letter by letter, and at some point it crashes. Some work, others don't. What can I do?

Sorry to hear about this trouble. Looks like there is some issue specific to those links. Will it be possible for you to share those links with us? I can try to replicate the behavior at my end. Also, please do share a which OS and version InDesign is this?
