Hi

This is doing my head in. Indesign, Premiere and Illustrator are randomly crashing every 15 mins or so. I thought it was when I dropped out of an extrnal server but it seems to be happening when i'm working on any files now. I'm updated with all CC programs. On Catalina. New laptop to. How hard can it be? It definitley crashes when I copy and paste out of the program too.

I haven't trashed preferences yet. i'm getting so used to starting the program again. Thank God for autosave.

Any help would be great.

cheers

How much RAM do you have -- InDesign needs at least 16GB to be comfortable.
Definately worth trashing your InDesign preferences.

Thanks Derek.

Trashing preferences worked for the afternoon. Seemed to crash after it slept for a while and i left it open.

I should have enough ram. Its the latest macbook pro that was beefed up for editing.

Assuming you have at least 16GB RAM, I suggest you unistall InDesign, using the drop-down menu in the Creative Cloud app, and reinstall it again. If that doesn't solve the problem then unistall it once again and then run Adobe Cleaner before reinstalling InDesign.
