InDesign CS6 crashes on Mojave 10.14.6

Hello lovely people, 

I recently installed CS6 (a gift from a friend) on to my new 2019 Macbook Pro but it keeps crashing when I launch the app. None of the patches that I have downloaded were able to be installed. What should I do, besides upgrading to CC? I'd really appreciate any help.

How much RAM do you have?

Hi there, 

As Derek already mentioned, CS6 is definitely not compatible with Mojave or anything beyond MAC v10.9 ( https://helpx.adobe.com/indesign/system-requirements-old-versions.html ). 

I am afraid, any attempts to troubleshoot the install could result in it becoming unusable. We strongly recommend upgrading your software to a newer version that is supported. That way, we can provide you tech support and access to the latest updates and bug fixes. I apologize for the frustration. Please let me know if you have any questions.
