I store all InDesign files in Google Drive, but due to insufficient space, I deleted all the content cache files. (Content cache files seem to be opened locally even if they are not downloaded separately from Google Drive.) After that, all files that were less uploaded to Google Drive were damaged and could not be opened. Therefore, we are currently recovering content cache files through the purchase of a paid recovery program. I wonder where the files should be placed, ancillary files to open InDesign, and linked images should be placed in the Mac's library.

Can't you just use your backups to recover the files in the usual way?

Remember, never say you can't do something in InDesign, it's always just a question of finding the right workaround to get the job done. © David Blatner
