I can't open/copy/duplicate or send an inDesign file.  It's on my external drive, the drive is not corrupt since I can open pdf or jpeg files on the same external drive.  I've wiped my Mac clean and installed Big Sur, have unisntalled and reinstalled both adobe creative and indesign, have tried installing an older version of indesign.  Have talked to adoble support twice, still no response when I try to open a file.  No error code, just no response.  Of ocurse I'm on deadline, any suggestions?

Move the file to your desktop and try to open it from there.

Don't do that with a double-click, but with the File > Open dialog of InDesign.

Thank you, when I drag to desktop it says the file is invisible.  When I try to rename it I get an error 1426.
