InDesign icons appearing as white boxes

I use Windows 10 and prior to the 2019 upgrade of inDesign, the icon appeared normally. But since then, I have been getting these bland plain white icons, though they link correctly. I have tried several suggested solutions from the Community, but none, including several uninstalla and reinstalls, has worked. Does anyone have a solution, before this darn issue drives me crazzzy?

You didn't say you've reset Preferences. Have you done that?
