InDesign – "Import fehlgeschlagen"

Hallo!

Ich habe seit der Installation von InDesign CC 14.0 letzte Woche das Problem, dass ich keine Objekte mehr platzieren kann.
Es erscheint die Fehlermeldung "Import fehlgeschlagen".
So kann man leider überhaupt nicht weiterarbeiten. – Weiß jemand einen Rat?

was genau willst Du platzieren?

Ob's hilft weiß ich nicht, aber seit heute gibt's ein Bugfix-Update auf Version 14.0.1.209 über die Creative Cloud Desktop App.

Sorry to hear about this. I would request if you can share a few more details like:

  • Have you updated InDesign to the most recent version(14.0.1)? If not, please do.
  • OS( exact version of Windows/MAC)
  • Where the files are saved(Network Drive/ System HDD/ Shared Folder on System /External HDD)?
  • What is the file format of the files you are trying to Import(JPEG/ PNG/ TIFF/ PDF)
  • Would you mind sharing a sample file?

Ich habe seit dem neusten Mac-Update dasselbe Problem.

Auch mehrfaches Neustarten des PCs und der App bringen keine Lösung für das Problem.

Ich habe in zahlreichen verschiedenen Foren verschiedene Versuche gelesen, dieses Problem zu beheben. Offenbar kann der Fehler eine Vielfalt verschiedener Ursachen haben. Da mir meine Fehlerursache bislang noch nirgendwo untergekommen ist, sei sie hier genannt: Überprüft, ob es sich bei den zu importierenden Bildern um mit einem iPhone gemachte Bilder handelt. Apple speichert dieses in den neueren iOS-Versionen bzw. iPhone-Modellen im HEIC-Format, das InDesign nicht lesen kann (AUCH WENN die Dateiendung .jpg lautet). Meine Lösung (auf dem Mac): Bild per Vorschau oder Finder-Kurzbefehl in ein PNG konvertieren - dann gings.

Hatte das Problem auch. Meine Datein lagen auf der Dropbox. Jetzt wo ich sie auf den Desktop gezogen habe, hats mit dem Platzieren in Indesign funktioniert. Mühsam... aber wenigstens klappts jetzt.

Wenn die Daten auf der Dropbox liegen –> Rechtsklick –> offline verfügbar machen. Dann klappts auch wieder mit dem Import
