Hi All,

Have a nice day!

We have a InDesign JavaScript tool, which has already captured the few informations from the InDesign

like "File Name", "User Name" "Page Count" etc.. and updated in the excel.

Screenshot 2021-02-01 at 6.29.19 PM.png

But my new request, is it possible to update the same data capture information in SharePoint (instead of excel)?

Application: InDesign

Language: InDesign JavaScript

Any ideas or thoughts are much appreciated.

Thanks

Hi,

I am not an expert in Sharepoint, if it has a JavaScript API, then there is probably no reason it couldn't, although you would probably need to hire an expert to script it, as there may be a need for authentication and such.

It would probably be better to post this on a Sharepoint forum, as the problem is how to post a document/information to Sharepoint first, and then how to do it from InDesign second.
