InDesign Share for Review: Markup Options Flicker and Disappear

I'm trying to test out the Share for Review option within InDesign. When I (or someone else) open up the review doc, the markup options, flicker and then disappear, leaving only the ability to place a pin, draw, or leave a general comment.

Is this a setting? Or is something weird going on? I swear I saw people using it in MAX. Do I need to update my InDesign?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Mine was a separate issue, just for the reviewers. I guess I should've been more specific. Apparently all I had to do was update my InDesign. Whoops! 🙂

I was doing the corrections when I suddenly also encountered this. Pretty soon afterwards InDesign crashed and now I can only see black review panel... Screenshot 2020-10-27 at 19.29.16.png

This blank screen issue did go away when I logged out and back in.
