I've made sure our updates on the mac are the most recent and I've kept indesign up to date

but I still get a packaging error when I have the files on a shared drive since I installed High sierra OS update on the mac.

Has anyone since resolved this issue or is this still outstanding?

This would appear to be a High Sierra issue and I wouldn’t discount whether it might not be Apple’s issue to fix.

Should I be raising a ticket with adobe or apple?

And if so what's the process?

Can’t hurt to report it to both.

Plenty of reports now that it’s pretty clearly a bug somewhere. FWIW, I’d be rooting for an Apple bug. They tend to get fixed a bit faster.

This may be fixed in the upcoming 10.3.4 macOS X update which may come as early as today (3/29).

InDesign CC 2018/High Sierra - Cannot package files

It's fixed in the beta of the new osX version.

I have several users who are on OS 10.13.4 and InDesign 14.0.1.209 and are having the same problem of not being able to package files. Doesn't matter if it's on the server or the machine desktop. Just started happening within this last week
