Hi guys,

when Indesign "starts" it shows a progress circle (see image). I have left that, for more than half hour but it never end to use Indesign.

Indesign v15.0.2 or v15.0.1 same error.

I have tried to uninstall and reinstall several times with no luck.

I have tried also this https://community.adobe.com/t5/indesign/indesign-2020-keeps-crashing/td-p/10781205?page=1  with also no luck .

I am using Windows 10 pro x64 V.1909 OSbuild 18363.720

Gigabyte B450pro /32gbRam/RTX2060

Any help will be much appreciated.

Create a new user account on that computer and try opening InDesign from there.

Thank you so much for your reply.

Do you suggest that as a temporary solution ?

But I need something like a permanent one because it will be meaningless to switch accounts just only for Indesign.

I will do that to test if it works.

Thank u.

Thank u very much for your reply.

As I was looking for solutions I realized  that I could use the menu. So I went to preferences and I could disable the "show home screen" and enable "Legacy Document" . The good news is that after that, I could use Indesign create or open a new document and working with it. The bad news is when enabling "Show home screen" the same error in my first post occured exactly as described.
