Hii,

I have an issue with packaging an InDesign file.

I would like to package a very big InDesign file and It was packaging for a few hours and stopped at composing all text ...

indesign packpage.JPG

The file is extremely big, so do you think I should wait further and will actually proceed with the full Package or we have an issue here? I've tried to package it 2 times and it always stopped here and didn't move further even after 30 hours.

I use Indesign 2020, windows 10 and MSWI WS60 (xeon, quadro, ssd, 32 gb ram)

Thank you for any advice.

I'd try exporting it to an IDML file first - then open that and save it as an indesign file.

Try package it then.

Just thinking laterally here. Is there any chance you could break the document into smaller pieces which could be individually packaged? You could use the InDesign Book feature to unify all of the smaller documents. Someone here can elaborate on the Book feature if this is a possible solution for you.

Ok,

will try that.

It would be best if I could package everything at once, but that is better than nothing packaged.

Thank you.
