Hi there,

I'm having an issue with InDesign, the zoom in and out shortcut doesn't work. It's essential on our job, any updates about it?

Working on Mac 10.15.4 Catalina and all Creative App updated

Thank you

For these kind of bug like issues, I would search in:

https://indesign.uservoice.com/forums/601180-adobe-indesign-bugs?query=zoom

But, first, we need more detail, which zoom shortcut doesn't work on your machine ? Is it always, is it when focused on a particular type of object ? Which version of inDesign is concerned ?

Hi there,

Sorry to hear about your experience. Please make sure there is no other app which is conflicting with the keyboard shortcuts. Please take help from help article https://support.apple.com/en-in/guide/mac-help/mchlp2864/mac to do that.

You may also try resetting the preferences once. Please follow the instructions below to do that:

  • Close all Adobe applications
  • Go to Locations:
  • ~/Library/Caches
  • ~/Library/Preferences
  • Rename Adobe InDesign and com.adobe.indesign to Adobe InDesign.old and com.adobe.indesign.old
  • Launch InDesign from the CC

**Please note that resetting preferences will remove all the custom settings and InDesign will launch with default settings. This way all your old settings will be saved in .old folders and InDesign will recreate new folders with default settings.

Let us know how it goes. Looking forward to your response.

Regards,

Ashutosh
